FRANCE SHORT STAY VISIT VISA:
Pakistan nationals who wish to visit France and other Member States of the Schengen Area for a maximum period of 90 days for tourism, shopping, business trip, and visiting a relative or friend can apply for Schengen visa for France from Pakistan. You port of entry must be in France. You can submit your application form, and supporting documents and pay the processing fee at any of 10 locations of AEG Travel Services which handles the visa applications for French embassy in Pakistan. You can apply 3 months in advance of your departure date to visit France. You may be required to submit additional documents.
Depending on the purpose of your travel to France, there are different types of visas that will apply to the occasion. Whether you are planning to go on a visit, study or work and reside there permanently, you will have to apply for a different France Schengen Visa, accordingly.
GATHER REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:
An ordinary passport or other recognised travel document valid for at least three months from the expiry date of the visa applied for. This document must have at least two empty pages. Please bring previous passports, if any, and attach with application copies, on A4 size paper, of used pages.
Photocopy of your national ID card
If you have been refused a visa by an Embassy or High Commission in the last two years, written explanation about reason for trip and refusal.
Third country nationals residing in Pakistan must provide supporting documents attesting to the legality and the authorized duration of their residence here.
Original signed letter of the applicant’s company/employer stating name, position, salary, duration of employment, address and contact numbers of the employer, purpose and duration of visit to the Schengen state(s).
Supporting documents of personal income :
Original bank statements of the last six months
National Tax Number Certificate (NTM) for the previous two years and proof of income tax payment (FBR)
last three salary slips If the applicant is the proprietor of a company, he must attach :
Original bank statements of the last six months
National Tax Number Certificate (NTM) for the previous two years and proof of income tax payment (FBR)
Supporting documents of the organisation’s income :
Original bank statements of the last six months
National Tax Number Certificate (NTM) for the previous two years and proof of income tax payment (FBR)
Chamber of Commerce Certificate valid for the current year
Recommendation for business visa from the Chamber of Commerce
An invitation letter from the private or public organisation established in France, in the applicant’s name and indicating the trip dates.
Confirmed hotel reservation.
Copy of flight booking(s).
Original AND copy of a travel medical insurance policy of not less than 30,000 Euros. The policy must cover medical and hospitalisation expenses for the entire period of valid stay on Schengen territory as well as repatriation costs.
SCHEDULE APPOINTMENT FOR BIOMETRIC AND INTERVIEW:
You must visit the nearest AEG Travel Services center to submit application and documents, pay visa processing fee and get the appointment for interview at the French Embassy in Islamabad. You will also be giving fingerprints of both hands and photograph at the time of interview.
Pay Visa Processing Fee:
You must pay the Visa processing fee of PKR8571 in Cash only at the time of submitting application. The fee is dependent on the exchange rate of PKR and EURO and may change without notice. AEG also charges service fees for their services to handle the visa applications.
ATTEND VISA INTERVIEW:
On the day of interview you must arrive at the Diplomatic Shuttle Service, 3rd Avenue, near Quaid-e-Azam University Road, G-5, Islamabad to board the shuttle to the French Embassy. You must arrive 30 minutes before the scheduled visa appointment time. You must bring original NIC, current and all previous passports, Receipt issued by AEG and all necessary supporting documents with you to the French Embassy. You will be asked about yourself and your visit to France during the interview. Visa Counselor will keep the passport after the interview.
RECEIVE PASSPORT:
You will receive the passport with Schengen visa at the AEG visa center where you submitted your application. It will take about two weeks before you will receive your passport back.
